Beverly Connell

Head of School

Beverly Connell, Head of School, has been with Greenwood School since 2000. She earned a BS in Special Education and a BS in Elementary Education both from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Connell has over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience in public and private education in Ohio and Jacksonville. She is the co-founder and former director of the North Florida School of Special Education. Ms. Connell is a member of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, the Learning Disabilities Association of Florida (LDA), the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), and Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD). She serves on the FSCJ Advisory Council, the UNF Professional Development Partnership Advisory Group, and the FCIS Accreditation Evaluation Academy.
