Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The PTO meets at 1:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month during the school year. Meetings are facilitated by the PTO president, and reports are presented by committees, the Head of School, Associate Head of School, Events Coordinator and teacher representative.

Activities sponsored by the PTO include:

• Purchasing equipment and supplies for students and classrooms
• Providing a scholarship fund for field trip and activities fees
• Helping offset prom expenses
• Publishing a school directory to enhance communication
• Providing a volunteer base to help in the classrooms and on field trips
• Sponsoring staff appreciation functions such as monthly treats and annual luncheon
• Providing hospitality for Open House in September and Awards/Graduation Night in May
• Coordinating Box Tops for Education and Ink/Toner Cartridge collections
• Assisting with Vision Screenings
